On what was the best weather night of the spring season, the Lady Wildcats lost a tough battle to their Park rival Salem Rocks 17-10 on Friday night. PHS jumped out to an early lead but could not sustain the momentum, as the Rocks seemed to find their mojo about 2/3 of the way into the first half. The Cats tried valiantly to keep it close, but the Rocks pulled away for good about midway through the second half of the game.
Plymouth was led in scoring by Zoe Weber, who tallied 6 goals and three assists. Jill Koviak added three goals, while Reese Oberski and Nicole Janovsky chipped in a goal and an assist, respectively.
The Lady Cats are next at home for a game against the newly formed Livonia United team on Thursday, April 18. Game time for the JV will be at 5:30, while the varsity game will start at approximately 7PM.
Come out and support the Lady Cats.
