Meet Recap

Plymouth came into the KLAA conference invitational hoping to come away with a decent performance and place somewhere in the top 3-4 teams. “With Northville, Salem and Brighton all part of this race, I told the girls to concentrate on doing their best and maybe we could come away with a 4th place finish. We are competitive with other teams at that level and it was good race to work on our race awareness. I was really proud of all of their efforts; many PR’s and excellent racing skills were displayed today.” commented Coach Ahearn.
Freshman Londyn Swenson had an outstanding run, finishing 13th overall with a time of 19:24, followed closely by senior Arwa Hararwala finishing 15th with at time of 19:32. “Having them up at the front of the pack is such an advantage for our team. It makes a big difference.” said Coach Ahearn.
The next 3 scoring Wildcats were Paige Cristea (9) with a time of 20:49, Lola Merrill (9) with a time of 20:50 and Laura Bonds (10) with a time of 20:57. “They solidified our position by passing several Grand Blanc and Stevenson girls. Every place they can take away matters.” noted Coach Ahearn.
“We had several great performances in the JV race as well”, commented Coach Ahearn. “Lily Tiplady (10) ran a 20:26, Erin Trombley (9) ran a 21:29, senior Noelle Rogalski ran a 21:34, just to name a few. All in all, it was a great day for the lady Wildcat runners.”
