Plymouth looked like a completely different team on Saturday. At the half the score was 6-3, a nice lead, but not a guarantee of a win. The scoring remained close throughout the first half, and it appeared as if we might be coming into the second half with only a two goal lead, however a late goal by Mackenzie Miller extended that to three goals. Troy came out strong, scoring first in the second half, which was quickly answered by Erin Donnelly, who scored her second goal of the game. Troy scored another, Plymouth’s Autumn Matt answered. Troy scoring again, this time answered by Ava lemon. Troy fought hard to get the ball back, however Plymouth held them off, managing to get the ball to Autumn Matt who scored one more. Hopefully this win erases the memory of the loss to Livonia and allows the team to focus on the upcoming week, which will be tough, and needs to have all players focused on playing their best game to date.
