PHS Fall Sports Families and Student-Athletes,
As the fall season concludes and the MHSAA tournaments continue for some I wanted to touch base on a few pieces of information you may find useful. This season has had its challenges and looked different from any Fall season before, but in the end, we were thrilled we were able to provide a much needed competitive, collaborative experience for our student-athletes.
1) Celebrating Success
Girls Golf: Congratulations to Plymouth Girls Golf for being MHSAA Regional Champions and their Final Four finish at the MHSAA State tournament. Outstanding season ladies!
Girls Cross Country: Won the MHSAA Regional Championship this past weekend and is looking forward to the MHSAA State championship this Friday (11/6/20)!
Girls Volleyball: Have had a competitive year improving their record by 8 wins from the previous year.
Boys Cross Country: The team qualified for States for the 4th year in a row! They are looking to turn some heads and surprise some teams at the MHSAA State championship this Friday (11/6/20).
Girls Swimming: Are looking forward to the KLAA conference meet this weekend (11/7/20) and their upcoming MHSAA state meet later this month.
Keep up the great work Cats!

3) Winter Tryout Information & Head Coaches Directory
Winter Tryout Information – These dates, times, and locations are tentative and may change
Head Coaches Directory – If you have any sport-specific questions please reach out to the head coach
4) COVID Reporting
Please report all COVID 19 cases or situations to the P-CCS Director of School Safety and Security Mr. Joshua Meier firstname.lastname@example.org. Our message to students and parents is – STAY HOME if you are sick, COMMUNICATE with us if you are not attending practice, be HONEST with us.
5) Educational Excellence Foundation Hardship Fund
Winter sports are starting soon and students need your help more than ever. The EEF helps provide scholarships to P-CCS HS and MS students whose families can’t afford the athletic participation fee. Please consider donating to our Pay to Play Funds and allowing ALL P-CCS students the ability to participate. https://eefforkids.org/2019-2/athletic-hardships/
6) PHS Signing Day (5/6/2021)
We are planning to have an end of school year signing day to celebrate all our Plymouth High School student-athletes who are playing a sport at the next level. If your son or daughter is a senior and would like to sign their National Letter of Intent before this celebration please have them reach out to me and set up a time and date. https://plymouthathletics.com/signing-day-may-6th-2021/
