Plymouth 16, South Lyon Unified 15 – The Wildcats defeated a tough, well coached South Lyon team 16-15, Monday, May 13th, improving their record to 14-4 to conclude the regular season. Plymouth trailed all game, until Senior Jeff Koviak made a nice move to the middle of the field and scored to tie it up with just over a minute left in regulation. With time running out, Ethan Rottell made a nice move to beat his defender finding Brendan Allen open who buried an impressive no angle goal with 18 seconds left in the game to give the Wildcats their first lead of the game. With last nights victory, Plymouth has broke the school record for regular season wins for the third consecutive season! Plymouth finishes the season top ten in the state (#7 Inside Lacrosse, #8 LaxNumbers, #9 All Lacrosse Michigan) for the first time in program history.

Plymouth’s offense was lead by Gavin Roach (2 goals, 2 assists), Ethan Rottell (2 goals, 1 assist), Brendan Allen (3 goals, 1 assist), and David Brace (3 assists). Carson Miller had 1 goal and 1 assist. Harrison Albano had 1 goal and 1 assist. Griffin Connell had 1 goal and 1 assist. Ian Gozdor had 2 goals. Jeff Koviak had 1 goal.

Plymouth defense was lead by Josh Montroy, Tyler Schewe, Brayden Goebel, Cenzi DeFelice, Grant Caswell, Mike Mathias, Blake Nowicki, and Cam Bump. Nick Schoen did a great job creating 50/50 ground balls from the faceoff.

Plymouth begins round 1 of MHSAA playoffs against Ann Arbor Pioneer Sunday, May 19th home at PCEP Varsity Turf Field.
