On Saturday December 1, the Plymouth Boys Varsity kicked off the 2018-2019 season by competing in the annual North Farmington Early Bird Tournament at Novi Bowl. The boys finished fourth in a field of 20 teams, narrowly missing a Top-Three finish by a scant 25 pins. Standout scores included games of 247 and 225 by senior co-captain Alan Brown, games of 214 and 190 by senior co-captain Brett Caldwell, games of 193 and 215 by senior Tristan Larsen, and a 202 by junior Christopher Dywer.
In addition, freshman phenom Zach Endres made his long-awaited debut for the Wildcats, turning in a 577 series (176-214-187).
The oil pattern, as is typical for Novi Bowl, was rather long and oily and presented an excellent challenge for all bowlers.
The boys get their KLAA matches started Monday Dec 3 against Livonia Churchill at Super Bowl Lanes in Canton.
