Coach Ballard Comments: “Chantal capped off her career with a terrific senior season. Our team went as LeDoux went. She is one of the best players ever to don a uniform at Plymouth High School. She’s the ultimate bucket getter. Her ability to score the basketball in a variety of different ways made her a lethal scorer in the KLAA over the past few seasons.”

Chantal’s Comments: “First off I would like to thank my parents for giving me the opportunity to play basketball. They have supported me throughout my high basketball career and I love them very much. Secondly, thank you to the coaching staff for always trusting and believing in my potential as a player. Lastly, I would like to thank my teammates for consistently pushing me to become a better player each and every day.”

Gabby Chouinard, Senior Forward

Statistics: 6.7 points per game, 5 rebounds per game, 1.9 steals per game,

Coach Ballard Comments: “Gabby is one of the toughest kids in the KLAA. She played in the middle of our offense and was an undersized big each and every single night but was a force to be reckoned with. Gabby also played in the front of our press and always caused havoc on our opponents with her relentless effort. I will talk about Gabby for years to come when describing toughness to younger kids in the program.”

Gabby’s Comments: “I’m honored and blessed to have been named to the KLAA All-Conference Team. I have my hard work and coaches to thank for that. This is something I will cherish and remember forever.”

Sydney McCaig, Sophomore Forward/Guard

Statistics: 6.5 points per game, 4.2 rebounds per game, 1.3 steals per game, 14 charges taken

Coach Ballard Comments: “Sydney has the ability to be a big-time scorer. She can hurt you inside and outside. Syd is extremely strong and is able to push around smaller guards and has a quick first step which makes her a tough check when opponents put a big on her. She also was a major piece of our press with her ability to show toughness and take charges on a nightly basis. I’m looking forward to watching her game grow over the next two seasons.”

Sydney Comments: “Being named to All-Conference Honorable Mention means a lot to me. It might not be first team but it shows how much I’ve improved as a player over the past year. I know if I keep working hard I will be able to make the All-Conference team in the future.”
