On Friday, the Wildcats had their best performance in the KLAA Conference Meet in school history when they finished 2nd, scoring 104 points.
Many great performances were put forth by the Plymouth Girls, including 3 event wins, 2 meet records, 2 new PCEP records and 3 new school records.
The 4 x 200 Relay of Reghan Draper, Faith Washington, Paige Sanders, and Ryen Draper shattered the school and PCEP record, running a time of 1:40.89. This broke the meet record and is the 17th fastest time run in state history.
Senior sprinter Ryen Draper rebroke her own school and PCEP record in the 400 M Dash, with a time if 54.97. This is the fastest time in the 400 run in the state this year. She is the 17th girl in state history to run under 55 seconds. Ryen also broke the school and PCEP record in the 200 M Dash with a time of 24.55.
The 4×100 Relay of Erin Bradley, Paige Sanders, Delia Brennan, and Reghan Draper finished first place with a time of 49.80.
Also performing well for the Wildcats were Paige Sanders who finished 3rd in the Long Jump with a jump of 16′ 9″ and Natalie Janke finished 2nd in the Pole Vault with a vault of 10′ 9″. Reghan Draper finished 2nd in the 100 M with a time of 12.47. Sophomore mid-distance runner Ana White finished 4th in the 800 M Run with a time of 2:26.50.
