Plymouth High School
For the 3rd straight game, Plymouth was able to pull off a late 4th quarter comeback to defeat visiting Novi, 41-40.
Plymouth started the 4th quarter with a one point lead, but Novi ran off 14 points to build an 8 point lead halfway through the quarter. Plymouth then went on a run of their own to climb back into the game. Carter Solomon hit a deep 3 pointer to cut the lead to one. Ethan Rottell was fouled with under 20 seconds left in the game and made both of his free throws to give Plymouth a one point lead. Plymouth was then able to defend Novi’s last second shot attempt to hold on for the win.
Carter Solomon was Plymouth’s leading scorer with 11 points (all in the 4th quarter). Ivan Davis contributed 10 points. Kaleb Smith was the leading rebounder with 7 and Juan Sanchez was the top assist man with 6.
The Wildcats record now stands at 15-2.
