In their 2nd intense matchup with park rival Canton, Plymouth was able to rally late for a 36-32 victory.
Trailing by 5 entering the 4th quarter, the Wildcats battled back to cut Canton’s lead to 1 point. With just over a minute left in the game, Carter Solomon stole the ball from Canton and raced in for a layup. He missed the 1st shot, but was able to grab his own rebound and put it in to give Plymouth a 1 point lead. The ‘Cats then finished the game by defending, rebounding missed shots and making free throws to seal the win.
Ivan Davis lead the Wildcats in scoring with 15 points. Matt Maclellan contributed 9 points. Davis was also the leading rebounder with 7 and Carter Solomon grabbed 6 boards. Solomon also had 4 steals.
The Wildcats record now stands at 14-2 for the season.
