In a close KLAA conference Meet, Northville led Plymouth 144.175 to 142.675. Plymouth working with out 2 of their top all arounders still managed to break season team record thanks to the first place performance of Paige Sanders in two events and All around performance of Emily Caragay.
Paige, Coming off an injury set a new school record on Floor of 9.7 to capture first place division one. Later she nailed her beam with a 9.375 to take first. Junior Emily Caragay not far behind came with in .025 of breaking the school all around record. She placed 2nd on vault, 3rd on bars, 8th on beam, 11th on floor securing a 37.025 All around to place 2nd behind Courtney Casper of Brighton. Sophomore Adrian Hartford set a new personal best on Beam of 8.925 to take 5th place division two.
Ava Eilola stuck a solid beam routine to place 9th Division 1 and vaulted to a 8.75 to place 8th on Vault.
Thanks to outstanding, consistent all around performances of Senior Captains Adriana Tao and Sara Hosmer Plymouth secured a new team high.
With 15 new freshman and a team of 32, all of the girls have worked hard to get up to the competitive level.
New Freshman and sophomores Alex Perakes, Shelby Marocco, Sascha Tye Birnham and Molly Baumgart have excelled to earn a place in the KLAA lineup. Regional March 4th will be a challenge as the regional boasts of 5 teams over 140. Plymouth has qualified 21 girls int the regional.
