Two Plymouth Lacrosse players signed their official letter of intent to play college lacrosse next season. Those Wildcats were:
Tyler Ramer – Lacrosse Capital University
Elizabeth Elliott – Lacrosse Siena Heights
Both athletes were interviewed about their decision and experiences:
Question 1: If you could give any advice to current and future athletes what would you say?
“Work hard, stick to a schedule, and stay determined.” – Tyler
“Don’t get down on yourself, I tried lacrosse for the first time my freshman year. Make sure you something new, you could end up being really good at it.” – Elizabeth
Question 2: Why did you choose to sign with this university?
” Capital is a Top 50 Division III school with a pro coach. This school gives me the opportunity to transfer in the future. I am looking forward to the experience.” – Tyler
“Siena Heights is close to home and family. I like that it is small and that I will get a lot of attention. The team and coach were really welcoming and nice during my official visit.” – Elizabeth
Question 3: What do you expect for your last season as a Plymouth Wildcat?
“We have a talented team and we want to win the conference and association. I want to enjoy the season – its a bitter sweet ending to a great career at PHS.” – Tyler
“Personally, I want to break all the goalie records at Plymouth. For my team, I want to be park champs and beat rival Northville.” – Elizabeth
Congratulations Tyler and Elizabeth! Go Cats!
