Plymouth High School Athletics announces Mr. Scott Murray as the new boys head track coach for the spring of 2017.
Coach Murray has over 20 years of experience in coaching track and field as well as football, having formerly coached at Garden City High School and Salem High School. Coach Murray is a retired police officer from the Westland Police Department, and he brings high levels of leadership and organizational skills to the position. Coach Murray is also serving this fall as an assistant coach on the Plymouth freshmen football team.
There will be a brief meeting for track and field athletes to meet Coach Murray on Wednesday, July 13 at 1:00 PM in Plymouth room 704. Following the meeting, student-athletes are encouraged to participate in the first-ever Plymouth Athletics Combine at 2:00 PM.
