Adriana Tao (gymnastics) accomplished a season personal highlight, finishing in 8th place at the highly competitive Canton Invitational in the all-around.
Rebeca Simu (gymnastics, also track and field) broke her own school record on the vault with a score of 9.25.
Lauren Allen (JV basketball, also soccer) really brought her “A game” in the huge win over Livonia Churchill. Each day Lauren is asked to go above and beyond for her team and she never complains. “Lauren is asked to go the extra mile for her team in every game. I have asked her countless times to step up and be the fire that our team needs to be successful during the game. She does not let this pressure get to her and works tirelessly on both ends of the floor. She is a great asset for our team. She stepped up when asked to play point guard this past Friday and was able to break apart the Churchill defense and racked up several assists in the process.” says Coach Flaherty.
Jordyn Chouinard (pictured above, girls varsity basketball, also softball) tallied up 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 6 steals in the Plymouth’s victories over Livonia Franklin and Livonia Churchill last week. Coach Ballard said, “I’ve never been around a player who plays as hard as Jordyn. I love her relentless energy. Mistakes do not phase her. She always has that next play mentality, which makes her a great player. J is what Plymouth Basketball is all about in terms of effort and attitude.”
Darwin Filey and Ethan Shulaw (both wrestling) both earned Wildcat of the Week by going 4-1 at conferences and out performing what they were seeded by a wide margin.
Garret Beauprez broke the 200 individual medley school record at the Wayne County Championships, which earned him a state cut.
Maddie Harden (9th grade, varsity bowling), earned her first of surely many tournament medals Saturday at the Farmington Mercy Tournament, averaging 182 for three games to post a top-10 finish.
Jade Roland (9th girls basketball) led the team in points this week and helped her team beat Livonia Franklin by making both free throws in the last 3 minutes of the game. Jade has impressed the coaching staff by not only her level of play, but her focus on becoming a team player.
Boyd Crane (varsity bowling) earned his high-game for the season with a 226 at the Mercy tournament.
