Twelfth grade varsity baseball player Patrick Downing was unstoppable on offense in last week’s games, going 10 for 17 at the plate with two home runs and 11 RBIs. Downing also pitched a complete game victory.
Tenth grade track athlete Ryen Draper has been fantastic since last week’s City Meet. In the dual meet on Tuesday against Canton, she won the 100M and was part of the winning 4x200M relay. She also took second in the 200M and 3rd in the 400M. Most impressively, this past Saturday at the Crestwood Charger Invitational she accounted for 38 of Plymouth’s 129 points. In a field of 16 teams, Ryen won the 200M, was on the winning 4×200 and 4x400M relays, and took second in the 100M dash.
