Baseball Poster Final

Zach Beadle, Plymouth Junior captain, is a tri-sport varsity athlete, being a leader in not only baseball, but football and basketball as well. We got a chance to ask Zach some questions about his role as a captain on the baseball team and a little about the current season. When asked what he enjoys most about baseball, Zach told us it is his favorite sport and it is a relaxed environment. “I have played for 11 years. I like being a catcher because they think that they can take an extra base on me and they can’t. I like making people feel like they’re bad at it. I like throwing people out.” He laughed. For this season Zach explained what he is looking forward to most. “ We want a chance to three peat in in the district and win the regional and attempt to make a run in the state tournament. We beat Canton already and that was a huge victory due to the park championship.” He also made a negative into a positive and added, “We got smacked by Saline but we are hoping to improve and work harder and smarter if we make it to the regional.” He believes they would improve greatly by gaining confidence in themselves and the team as a whole. Zach wants to see a student section at all park rivalry games and playoff games so make sure to come out! Go Cats!
